ODFW will be hosting an online public meeting (due to COVID restrictions) on Monday, February 8 beginning at 6:00 p.m. to get input on the number and timing of the Central Oregon Coast Spring All-Depth Halibut Fishery fixed and back-up dates.    Information on how to connect to the online meeting is below.

These are the slides that will be presented at the meeting: presentation (pdf)

For those who cannot attend the online meeting, an online survey is available to provide input.  It is suggested that you review the presentation (background materials available as a pdf) that will be presented at the meeting prior to taking the survey.  To access the survey, CLICK HERE.  The survey will be online through Monday, February 15th.

ODFW staff recommendations resulting from this meeting will be available in mid-February. The 2021 seasons are expected to be very similar to 2020.  The Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission will finalize the 2021 recreational halibut seasons in early April, with openings starting in May.
