Steelhead fishing on the Siletz River remains slow but there are still some nice fish around for the few anglers that are sticking with it. Pressure continues to be very light. The Siletz River remains open year-round for steelhead fishing and provides opportunity through April for winter steelhead and then summer steelhead typically start to show up in decent numbers in May. Trout fishing in streams opens on May 22.
