Anglers will want to pay attention to flows as rain this week on top of all the snow will probably make the river unfishable. This is a good time of year to run plugs as steelhead are getting pretty aggressive.
There are new license requirements to fish for winter steelhead in 2023 on south coast rivers and anglers should check the new regulation book prior to fishing.

Ben Irving Reservoir: Trout fishing has been slow over the past couple of weeks
Chetco River: Anglers will want to keep an eye on flows
