At Canyon Lake (report courtesy of Sportsman's Warehouse), bass are biting on top water, swimbaits, flutter spoons. Focus on hydrilla midlake with your favorite plastics, and throw topwaters by grass in watermelon and sungill colors. Dropshots can be effective as well with 4-6 inch roboworms in Red Crawler or Margarita Mutilator colors. Try early morning topwater baits such as buzzbaits, Sara spooks and Pop-Rs.
