No official fish count was given for Sutherland last week. But Joe Marshall of Ramona caught a 8.8 pound bass on a Yamamoto Ika at an undisclosed location of the lake. Launching conditions are good. The surface temperature is listed at 78 degrees and the lake is sitting 23.38 feet below capacity. Sutherland is open on a Saturday and Sunday schedule for fishing and boating and open on Mondays for shore-fishing and float-tubing only. There are no boat rentals available.
