Boating season is here! We encourage you to prepare before you head out on the water, so you can be sure to have a safe and fun boating experience with your friends and family.
In this week's Nevada Wild, Ashley Sanchez and Aaron Keller sit down with NDOW's Statewide Boating Education Coordinator Aaron Meier to talk about the steps to take to prepare your boat and stay safe while boating or paddling, and they highlight some of the great waters to explore in Nevada!

Illipah Reservoir: Surface water temperatures into the mid to high 50 degrees and fishing has been fair to good.
Humboldt River: As of May 27, the South Fork of the Humboldt was flowing at 200 cfs
Cleve Creek: As of May 27, Cleve Creek was flowing at 5.3 cfs
Cave Lake: Cave Lake is lowered to minimum and unfishable
Angel Lake: Shorelines still have a fair amount of snow
Comins Lake: Pike anglers have had some success
Bruneau River: As of May 27, the Bruneau River was flowing at 133 cfs
